A New Beginning for HASK
In 2010, HASK was acquired by Inspired Beauty Brands, experts in the hair care industry and early adopters of clean beauty principles.
The Forefront of Clean Beauty
Under new brand stewardship, HASK unveiled clean beauty standards and updated formulas to be free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, gluten, SLS, SLES, drying alcohol and artificial colors.
No Animal Testing
In 2013, HASK affirmed its commitment to no animal testing and added “Not Tested on Animals” to all product labels.
Expanding & Improving
Recognizing the importance of safety and transparency, HASK expanded its “free of” list to include over 1,300 ingredients that will never be formulated into HASK products.
Leaping Bunny Certified
All HASK products are certified cruelty free. External audits and documentation confirmed that HASK products and raw materials have not been tested on animals.
HASK Clean Beauty Standards
In 2019, HASK introduced its Clean Beauty seal affirming that our products are free of ingredients and chemicals many beauty industry organizations recommend against using. In addition, HASK formulas adhere to the standards established by California under Proposition 65 and by the European Union.
Vegan Collections
HASK launched the Curl Care collection, our first fully vegan product line.
Recyclable Packaging Transparency HASK joined How2Recycle, adding symbols to all packaging educating consumers how to best recycle HASK packaging after use.
Hair And Skin KindnessHASK stands for Hair And Skin Kindness. In 2021, this became our official brand mantra and part of our brand logo.
