Why did HASK update its packaging?
We hope you like the new look of your favorite HASK product!
We updated our packaging design to be more modern and easier for you to shop. We also worked to make it even more eco-friendly! As of May 2024, all HASK bottles are made from recycled plastic and all paperboard displays and boxes are made using wind power energy.
Has HASK changed its formulas? If so, what is new, and will I notice a difference in performance?
While you should not notice a difference in product performance, we upgraded select HASK formulas to adhere to the latest clean beauty standards. We upgraded preservative systems and removed silicones, filler ingredients and animal byproducts used in certain HASK haircare products.

Does HASK test on animals/Is HASK cruelty free?
HASK is proud to be Leaping Bunny certified. This means that all HASK products, ingredients and component parts (including raw materials) comply with the requirement of the Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals as established by the Leaping Bunny organization. No product has been tested or re-tested on animals to assess safety, efficacy, or environmental effects of Cosmetics and/or Household Products.
Are HASK products safe for color-treated hair?
Yes, all HASK collections are sulfate-free to keep your hair color from fading. There’s an option for every hair type and texture, so whether you have straight, curly, frizzy or fine strands, there’s something that caters to everyone.
Can you mix and match from each HASK system?
Yes, if you’re loving one HASK shampoo and a different HASK conditioner there’s absolutely no harm in a little “cocktailing”. We encourage everyone to have their own combination that works for them.
How & when should I use a HASK hair oil?
HASK hair oils can be used on both wet and dry hair.
On wet hair, use a coin-sized amount to smooth and protect. On dry hair, apply a coin-sized amount to your hair (avoiding roots) to help tame flyaways and smooth out any frizz – this can be repeated throughout the day, every day!
How & when should I use a HASK deep conditioning treatment?
HASK deep conditioners can be used 1-2 x per week or every other week (depending on how damaged your hair is). Apply a generous amount to damp hair (focusing on damaged areas) and let sit for 5-10 minutes, then rinse and style.
Where are HASK products made?
All HASK products are made in the USA/Canada.
Do you sell or trade email lists & names?
No, we do not sell or trade names and email addresses. If you’re kind enough to let us have them, we will use them to personalize some seriously fun emails containing all things Hair And Skin Kindness!
